Judd Romeo is a professional bull rider with just one dream of winning the world title. No one except for his mom really understood his passion for the sport.

Mandy Sullivan is a veterinarian in her home town in Kentucky. She has spent the last few years working the career she loves and also taking care of her niece whom she has custody of.

With the death of Judd’s mom he finds himself returning to his home in Kentucky to settle her estate. He wasn’t planning on meeting up with his high school sweetheart Mandy but being next door neighbors it was kind of hard to ignore each other. Both Judd and Mandy have some emotional issues that keep them from realizing how much they do belong together. With the emotional stress of going through his mom’s belongings and with Mandy’s sister returning to town to claim her daughter they both stand by each and give the support and friendship that each of them need.

This is an absolutely wonderful book. I always loved the idea of reunions of lost loves. Judd and Mandy are two hard headed people but I would expect this with all they had to go through in their lives. You just want them to be happy. This is the first book that I have read of Jan’s and to me it’s like a fresh of breathe air. This is the first in the series of the Bluegrass Reunion series. I am looking forward to reading the second in the series.
